FARMER FAMILY HISTORY

That, I believe, was the family. But I’m only going by memory of stories & summer visits from Clayt & Howard. I know you guys probably stayed in closer contact. The Farmer’s were affluent ranchers on Feely Hill when a cattle disease swept through their herd & devastated them financially. They sold out & moved to a smaller ranch just south of Dillon. Mom lived with them while attending high school in Dillon before she moved to Butte with Dot to finish high school. I remember mom describing them as very warm, kind, & gentle people.

Let me know if I’ve missed any. Did you know that Grandad’s middle name, Oliver, was his mother Dora’s maiden name. She & Harrison married in ‘something’ Falls, WI.
